A Canadian charitable foundation

Quiet, steady giving for the communities we call home.

The F. K. Morrow Foundation supports registered charities working in education, health, social services and community life across Ontario and Canada.

About the Foundation

A family legacy, carried forward with care.

The F. K. Morrow Foundation was established to give back to the people and places that shaped it. From our home in Etobicoke, Ontario, we provide grants to Canadian registered charities whose work strengthens families, opens doors to learning and cares for those most in need.

We are a small, privately endowed foundation. That allows us to be patient, to build lasting relationships with the organizations we support, and to fund the everyday work that keeps good programs running.

Stewardship
We manage the Foundation’s resources carefully so that its support can continue for generations.
Partnership
We trust the charities we fund. They know their communities best, and we listen first.
Dignity
Every grant is made with respect for the people it ultimately serves.

What we fund

Four areas where steady support makes the greatest difference.

Grants are made only to qualified donees, such as registered Canadian charities, as defined by the Canada Revenue Agency.

Education

Scholarships, bursaries, tutoring and learning programs that help students of every age reach their potential.

Health & Wellbeing

Hospitals, hospice and palliative care, mental health services and research that improves quality of life.

Social Services

Food security, shelter, family support and services for seniors, newcomers and people living with disabilities.

Faith & Community

Faith-based charities, parishes and local organizations that bring neighbours together and serve the wider community.

“The measure of a gift is not its size, but how long it keeps doing good.”
